Position: Medical Informaticist (contract)
Description: Ideal candidate will have experience in analyzing healthcare data and data quality from electronic systems to its presentation to health care providers and quality managers.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of clinical data management experience
- Solid understanding of clinical guidelines and formal medical terminologies, ie SNOMED-CT, RxNorm, LOINC
- Experience with HL7 standards (v2.x and v3)
- Knowledge of health information systems and electronic medical record systems
- Knowledge of hospital and physician practice operations
- Ability to analyze user requests and define requirements
- Attention to fine details and work processes
- Good organizational, written and oral communication skills
Position: Sr. Software Engineer
Description: Immediate opportunity for a talented software engineer to join a team of software engineers, architects, and medical informaticists on developing HealthFabric, a hosting platform that allows deployment and management of VirtualHealthRecord applications on demand through Web Interface or API. Working with scrum master, product manager, QA, this individual has the depth and breadth to understand the technical details while maintaining an ability to think strategically to help make decisions to meet company objectives.
Requirements:
- 5+ years work experience and highly competitive .NET skills
- Experience with messaging middleware MSMQ and high performance/high availability service oriented architecture with WCF
- Well versed with the .NET technology stack and trade-off for building web application
- RDBMS, MSSQL, and transactions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Solid understanding of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, etc
- Knowledgeable of both HL7 v2.x and v3.0 specifications
